Yeah, Vlad was initially supposed to be a vampire before the idea was rejected by Nick for being "too occult". Though in hindsight, making Vlad into a half ghost was a better idea because vampires aren't that scary. The worst they could do is bite your neck and even though you'd be immortal whereas Vlad as a half ghost was a more dangerous opponent to Danny that he'd be as a vampire. Still, I wish he had a few vampire-esque powers like necromancy, hypnosis, drinking ghost blood to increase stamina or something.
